Director
Linda Pierpoint Eustace
Linda
was a member and soloist with the Norwalk Ballet Etudes Company, the Judith
Nilsson Dance Company and was on scholarship with the American Ballet Center,
New York City, under the directorship of Robert Joffrey. Linda has been trained
by Meredith Baylis from the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo, Maria Grandy from New
York City Ballet, Francoise Martinet from Joffrey Ballet, Ann Parsons from Royal
Ballet of London. Among her outstanding performances were leading roles in Mid Summer Nights Dream and The Nutcracker Ballet. Under the Connecticut
State
Commission of the Arts, Linda has given numerous lecture demonstrations for
Connecticut elementary school children. She has received many awards for her
dancing, including Talent Winner and 3rd runner up in the Miss Connecticut Pageant, Superior
rating with the Dance Division of the National Federation of Music Clubs, the
highly honored "Teacher's Award" every year since 1994 presented by Star Systems National Competition, the Teachers Award
presented by the judges at Headliners Dance Competition 1995, the "Best
Choreography Award" in 1997 presented by Tri State Talent Expo Competition,
Best Choreography Award in the 2003 East Coast Talent Competition, The "Best Technique Award" at
the 2005 East Coast Talent Competition, the "Top Modeling Teacher Award" at the 1995, 1996, 1997,
1999 and 2000 Star Systems National Competition in South Carolina and was
recognized twice in 2006 for her students outstanding ballet technique at the
Barabran and Dance Arts Plus competitions. Linda choreographed the Miss
Wolcott Pageant for over twenty years and has trained and advised over forty
contestants. She has organized tap-a-thons for St. Jude Children's
Research Hospital as well as fundraisers for a variety of other charities.
She has brought her students to entertain at convalescent homes, elementary
schools and veteran hospitals. Linda has presented seminars by Peter Sklar,
a NY director and Talent scout and has assisted the dance teacher at Central
Connecticut State University in the "Spirit in Motion" concert.
She is an official Miss America State judge, a member of the Wolcott chamber of
Commerce and on the advisory board of Wolcott High Schools "School to
Work" program. Linda was chosen by the Moscow Ballet to be the rehearsal
coach and coordinator for their "Nutcracker" performance at the Palace
Theater in 2007 and 2008
